The Fishermen Wishes to Welcome Asher Gannon!

Posted by worldorphanrelief on March 26, 2011

Asher Gannon - Verification Specialist

The Fishermen wishes to welcome Asher Gannon to our staff as our new Verification Specialist.  Asher brings a unique array of international skills to the organization and will use her experience to verify the legitimacy of applicants for assistance.  Unfortunately, there have been attempts in the past to acquire medical supplies from our organization for the purpose of resale, and it is Asher’s responsibility to prevent black market opportunists from diverting desperately needed aid from the children.  Asher’s experience includes working in Kabul, Afghanistan, supporting Dutch and Australian military units and is currently in Iraq performing logistical support duties for the US.  Asher also brings direct experience with orphans through her grandparents, whom have adopted over 20 children and fostered more than 50 over the years.  Joining The Fishermen is helping Asher fulfill her life’s dream of helping make the world a better place, one person at a time.
